I can quote you lines from all of the Disney princess movies, and I can sing every song from “High School Musical” I, II & III! Because, let’s face it: When you have a young daughter, you lose control of the TV remote!

Have you ever noticed in these Disney stories that it seems like one of the parents is always dead, or the kid in the tale is an orphan? You’ve got Snow White and Cinderella and Hillary Duff and so on.

Isn’t it crazy how relevant this is TODAY? It is probably more likely that those of you reading this blog will have come from a home with a missing parent than vice versa. Whether via divorce or just absenteeism, YOU GET the Disney story line.

Esther was something of a BIBLICAL CINDERELLA. She was an orphan, so her Uncle Mordecai raised her. You know she had to miss her mom and dad and wonder what she would become. But the Lord had a plan for this little orphan girl. In fact, she would marry the KING of Persia!

Don’t you know that Jesus said he would not leave us as orphans? Don’t you know that you are a bride to the King of Kings?

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” – John 14:18

God had a plan for Esther’s Fairytale ending, and HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOURS, TOO!
