As I looked at Instagram and got to enjoy a window into the Christmas celebrations of friends and family around the globe, my heart smiled.
I start listening to Christmas music the day it comes on in November, and I am sad when it goes back to ‘regular programming’ the very day after Christmas.
So today I want to ask you for a Christmas present. Yep, I am that bold to just straight up ask for something from you!
I want you to keep that spirit of Christmas – the peace, joy, excitement, anticipation, love, light and wonder – I want you to carry that AS LONG AS YOU CAN into the year. And maybe even all the way around until next Christmas!!!
I promise that the world is a different place at CHRISTmas time. People are a little kinder. A little more willing to give and think outside themselves. I can FEEL it in the air.
Let’s be the Buddy the Elf (minus the costume and tights, and mostly so people don’t think we are crazy) and keep that same spirit of CHRISTmas alive.

That’s exactly what my mom and I do. My mom and are always get upset when the Christmas music stops playing, but we sill keep the Christmas spirit alive until the first of the year after all Christmas is my favorite time of year.
