Didn’t get what you expected?
Neither did the LAME man lying by the temple gate.
Thankfully, He knew enough to go to church, EXPECTING that something good could happen.
Actually, He was just EXPECTING to score a couple of bucks to get him through the day.
Beyond Our Wildest Dreams
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6 (NKJV)
No more begging just to survive. God’s plan was to completely RESTORE and change his entire life!
“And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.” Acts 3:7 (NKJV)
God Has A Better Idea
We might not get exactly what WE expect from God because He always gives us:
• Better than we ASK,
• Better than we THINK,
• Better than we can IMAGINE
• And WAY better than we DESERVE!
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)
We don’t have to SETTLE for anything less. Every GOOD and PERFECT gift comes from God.
We should EXPECT it!

God directed me to Faith church where we have found what was so lost in our lives. God, loving family, caring people and the desire to become overflow people of God. The feelings are exciting. I feel so connected again. Where we came from we were just lost sheep looking for our God and we have found him in Faith church.
I think I need to stretch my thinking to ask for God sized promises and not be afraid.
