The other morning, I was sitting on my couch reading these verses in Jeremiah 13, when I realized it was really about what BLOCKS our dreams.

God wants DESPERATELY to use each and every one of us in the role, destiny, plan and DREAM that He has for us.

Sadly, it’s the same thing that gets in our way EVERY time…our pride!

Pride
We want to do things OUR way, according to our own timing.

• We think we’re right.
• We don’t like to admit when we’re wrong.
• And we always think we’re further along than we really are.

We’re convinced that those who have gone before us CAN’T POSSIBLY guide us because they don’t know us.

What If?
What if we took a step BACK?

What if we were bold enough to ADMIT that we aren’t always right?

What if we truly HUMBLED ourselves before God and man?

What if we said, “God, use me!” And then did WHATEVER He said? (Even when it looked NOTHING like we thought it would.)

God Has A Better Idea!
Then God could REALLY begin to use us and His #dream for us would begin to develop.

And strangely enough, when His dream unfolds and we finally see the BIG picture, it’s because we’re walking in OBEDIENCE to Him.

Then we realize, WOW!

THIS dream, THIS life, HIS dream for me looks so much like mine…only BETTER!!!

“Father God, I trust You and Your plan for my life. Please use me! Guide me! I promise to be obedient. In Jesus’ name.”
