When I get really happy in my house and happy with my family, I make up songs. I intentionally sing them off-key and in my kid voice. God watches us live our life. He sees us believing in him, growing in faith, and believing what he’s saying about us. I think it makes him happy, and that he makes up unrehearsed songs about us.
Here’s something that came to my mind that God might sing about you:
That is my little baby and oh I love him so,
And when he comes to praise me, this is what I know.
That I’m going out before him, and I will clear the way,
So he can walk into the future, and know I’ll make a way.
I am his God, and he is my child,
And when he sees the life I have for him,
He is going to go wild!
God sings these songs in heaven about you because you’re the baby. It’s good to be who you are and not someone else.
It is said that many first time writers and speakers don’t know their voice. People tend to read or listen to someone else and then try to be someone else. If you listen to someone else too much, you will try to be like them. I listen to T.D. Jakes, and I’m telling you that I will never be a large man with a booming voice saying, “Get ready, get ready, get ready!” (But I can do a pretty decent impersonation!)
I am who I am. You are who you are. You’re either going to fail at trying to be someone else or be a success at reaching people YOU are meant to reach.
You are incredible. You will see glory. You will see God bless you and sing happy songs about you as you walk through life just being YOU.
