Do you remember the old commercial that showed an egg and the announcer says, “This is your brain.” Then it shows an egg frying in a pan and he says, “This is your brain on drugs.” Our brains NEED to be “on” God’s Word.

What Are You Thinking About?

Do you ever think about what you think about?

Or does your mind just wander aimlessly?

Our brain is just a container that we fill with positive or negative thoughts. And just because we have poor thoughts doesn’t MAKE us a bad person, but it CAN mean that we end up leading a bad life.

Our life and actions reflect what we think because WHERE THE MIND GOES THE MAN FOLLOWS.

We think, “I was hurt or they did me wrong,” and we allow those thoughts to drive us down the road of negativity. Or maybe we have a beautiful container of a mind, but we allow people to come along and fill it with bad thoughts.

God doesn’t want that for us!!! THE WORLD is filled with filth and debris, so we have to guard our mental containers with the WORD OF GOD.

Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2

We need to renew our minds. We need to THINK THE THOUGHTS THAT GOD HAS ABOUT US and that is when we are empowered to live a good and healthy life.
