Sunshine, rainbows and unicorns – right? I mean they are all in the Bible after all.

That’s what a lot of people think. Well mercy that’s kinda what I thought. Can I just be honest?

And then when it didn’t work out that way…. #shocking

The bible doesn’t promise an absence of challenges, obstacles or that curse word that starts with the letter P…. (problems). It promises victory over all those things.

But here’s the thing (take note – THIS IS IMPORTANT).

We have a part. It’s not all God and us sliding by in vacation-mode. We do the ordinary. God does the extra-ordinary. We still have a part. Tweet This

And that part is usually not COMFORTABLE or ‘Yea! I get to do what I always wanted to do!’ That doesn’t take faith and without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

You weren’t created just for you. Just for your happiness. You were created for more.

Esther wasn’t created to be a Cinderella orphaned-child ending up Queen. She was created to save a race of people. Queen was simply a position that enabled that to happen. The blessing that comes with the call.

The call to love, help, encourage, influence, save beyond your expectation. The call you were CREATED to fulfill.

I don’t feel like that’s me.

Nobody ever does. That’s how you can be sure it’s you.

You are called to more than you know. You were CREATEd for more than you know.
