What has happened in Baton Rouge and Minnesota with Alton Sterling and Philando Castille has us in prayer.
We pray for healing for deeply wounded families, friends and those like me that look in from the outside and don’t understand.
We pray for understanding and that the wisdom of God is loosed.
We pray for the love of God to take over in a wild and remarkable way and actions that could divide will not. But that what the devil meant for evil God will use for good. Instead of division and hate and more hurt that God causes us to open arms, hearts and minds more than ever. To lift each other up in a time of confusion and heart ache.
God may your love prevail!
Cover the hurting in love.
Cover the hurting in Your love.
Cover the families in Your love.
Cover Your people in Your love.
We love you Lord.
Whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven.
We bind the enemy. We bind up hate. We bind up injustice. All enemies tools.
We loose You in the earth. You ARE love. We loose your justice. We loose your power.

Thank you Pastor Nicole for speaking out about these injustices. It is true that just like He got the glory from Lazarus death and “many believed” because of it, I believe He is using the senseless deaths of these two young men to do the same…to draw MANY to Him! He will get the glory, but what has saddened me is that it has been made very clear that the church has been asleep because few want to even address the issue of all these deaths. I should say few of the Mega churches. So I am grateful that you and Pastor D are taking the bold stand to speak on it! Love you both and will pray for your continued strength to fight on the front lines for Our Father!!!
I have been trying to figure out why I have been in a bad mood for over a week now, and my roommate and son both pointed out that I am very sensitive and I realized that I am scared to death about what is going on in this country right now. Than I read Pastor Nicole’s blog and the words were right there that made me feel safe; “We pray for the love of God to take over in a wild and remarkable way and actions that could divide will not. But that what the devil meant for evil God will use for Good.” (Crank, N., 2016). I prayed after I read this because I started feeling better and realized that this was another way for me to show my faith for myself. I have been feeling a little bit better slowly but surely and I am limiting the amount of news that I am watching so I don’t get too upset. Thank you Pastor Nicole, I have signed up to get baptised as well and my roommate is going to come to my baptism. Faith Church has made such a difference in my life and this is just another instance where they helped me through.
