I wonder… are you like me? Have you ever dealt with REJECTION in your life?
- Have you ever felt ABANDONED? I have!
- Have you ever been EXCLUDED? I have!
- Have you ever been DIVORCED? I have!
The thing I hate about rejection is, it makes you feel like you’re not GOOD ENOUGH or subpar, in some way. It makes you feel like you can’t do ANYTHING to make people happy. (And I really like to make people happy.)
Rejection makes us doubt who we are in Christ Jesus.
I understand the horrible pain of rejection. But, could rejection actually be part of God’s PERFECT PLAN?
During my Bible study time, I came across Ephesians 1:5. “It was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children.”
That slayed me! It was ALWAYS His perfect plan to adopt you and me? Does that mean it was always His perfect plan for someone else to REJECT us?
Romans 8:28 says, “God works ALL THINGS together for the good of those who love Christ Jesus.”
If you’ve ever been rejected, you need to know that it was ALL part of the plan!
God needed us in that place for THAT SEASON, but staying there wasn’t in His plan! That person couldn’t go where He was taking us!
I know it hurts! But, God’s perfect plan HAS NOT been interrupted! He’s moving us out of that bad situation into something so much BETTER!
God’s perfect plan isn’t for us to remain rejected. It’s for us to, finally, be ADOPTED in!
You are an original! Nobody else can bake your cake! God has a detailed “recipe for success” designed and waiting especially for YOU!

Thank you for writing this. It was so timely, and puts a whole different slant on rejection. My father abandoned and rejected me at a young age, and recently my sister said she didn’t consider me a part of her family; my attempts to find out why and bring reconciliation has only resulted in further hurt and pain. Needless to say, I’ve had difficulty receiving God’s love for me, and question why I was given this family only to be all alone. Now I’ll just pray that He’ll take my ashes and create them into a thing of beauty.
Hi, that revelation of that verse definitely put a different spin on it. I cried, it did release me from it and feel adopted and accepted. One of the verses God gave me was He will never leave me nor forsake me and I have mediated on that verse for years.
Please include Your Earth City campus address in your invitation. Just a suggestion! Thanks for all you do! Mark
This was perfectly timed for me to see, read and hear! In a weird place of isolation, what feels like loneliness and in what I’m concerning to be a rebirth of who God originated me to be! No steady job and bills are piling up but my spirit is at peace because I’m building a business that God ordained for me. This in between stage is one day I’m fine the next I’m stressing. But God is faithful and I continue to Pursue him mind body and soul. Trusting that all things are working together for MY good and His glory!
Thank you for your transparency Pastor Crank!
Great word keep them coming I’m still reading them! This one helped me a great deal. God bless you!
