You know that thing…
That secret… the thing we DON’T want to talk about in mixed company.
Physical, mental, or emotional abuse. Divorce. Cheating. Abandonment. Addicted. (Or living with someone who is.)
Rape. Molestation. The sudden passing of a loved one. Bankruptcy. Rejection. DEPRESSION. (That’s a big one.)
Have you ever felt shame or grief that’s so intense that it feels like it’s SWALLOWING you whole?
Whenever we try to erase the past from our memory… we’re still left with that big gaping HOLE, down deep in our soul.
I learned how to protect myself. I built impressive high walls that kept me from having any real relationships… even when I was so lonely it HURT.
If you’re sitting there in the middle of your pain and heartbreak, the idea of VICTORY can seem pretty far away. Even downright impossible.
But, let me tell you… with God’s help, it IS possible. Those days are OVER! So what does that kind of VICTORY feel like?
It’s pretty simple. It feels like FREEDOM, baby!!!
That weight on your shoulders, the one you didn’t even realize was there, can finally be GONE and you can stand tall, once more.
You can fully LOVE again, instead of holding yourself back, in fear of being hurt like before.
You can find the kind of FREEDOM that comes with the capacity to…… finally…… breathe…… again!
