Abuse. Bankruptcy. Divorce. My life was kind of CRAZY!
I remember, so clearly, EXACTLY where I was…
I’d just left my mom’s house, driving away in my Ford Escort. I was rolling high!
I was SO excited. Was this revelation?
I called my mom on my flip phone (Yeah… flip phone. It was a thing) and said,
“Mom, I think I KNOW what I’m supposed to do! I think I’m supposed to go to high schools and talk to kids about drugs. And how, people who use drugs… can ruin your life.”
Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future!
What I didn’t realize, until later when I looked back… that was the day that God put a CALL on my life!
Sometimes, we’re in a place that looks so desolate. Terrible. And yet, it can turn out to be the biggest OPPORTUNITY, right in front of us, that we’ve ever seen!
God has the amazing ability to take the worst of our past and turn it into something beautiful… the BEST of our future!
He took all my mess and made it my MESSAGE.
I wonder what the Lord has already spoken to you about that you don’t recognize as your call… YET.
