Where are my stinkin’ car keys???

I had an important meeting to attend, and of course, my keys somehow disappeared at the worst possible moment!

The first thing I did was stomp to my husband’s dresser, muttering under my breath about how he never puts the keys back where they belong
But, they weren’t in his drawer. I’m glad that I didn’t say anything that he could hear. (Maybe he won’t read this. Lol)
I tore up the whole house, checking all the usual spots: by the door, in my bag, on the kitchen counter… but they were nowhere to be found. Dang!
As the minutes ticked by, my frustration was GROWING!
Finally, after what felt like an eternity… whatta ya know… I found them tucked away in the pocket of a jacket that I hadn’t worn in DAYS! The relief I felt was overwhelming!
But, it also reminded me of a deeper truth.
Sometimes, the things we search for the hardest are already right there under our noses… easily within our reach. We just have to be patient, persistent, and keep the right attitude.
Some of the lost things we seek in life are FAR more significant than a set of car keys—like peace, purpose, or even faith.
These things won’t find themselves. So, we have to actively seek them out.
In the Bible, two blind men sat by the road as Jesus passed by. They couldn’t see Him. So, they did the ONLY thing they could. They shouted.
“Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
The crowd tried to silence them, but they persisted. And because of their faith and determination, Jesus heard them and healed them!
Sometimes, we have to shout out, in faith, before we’ll see our miracle.
Faith isn’t about seeing the possibility—it’s about believing and seeking God’s intervention, with all our might.
With faith and perseverance, you’ll FIND what you thought you’d lost!
