Not long after 9/11, I tried to get a passport. When I handed over my documentation, Homeland Security looked at me like I was an alien who’d just landed on Earth.
“How can you be born in Canada,” they asked, “but also have a U.S. birth certificate, dated three years later? Where’s your biological father’s information?”
(Great questions. If anyone ever finds him, let me know.)
He walked out of my life and rejected me before I’d even said my first word.
That same feeling echoing back from the government was like hearing, “You don’t fit in ANYWHERE.” (It was painful… to say the least.)
But here’s what I learned… God NEVER makes mistakes.
He sees you and He knows your worth. And, no amount of family drama can override the destiny that He has in store for you.
YOU were made for:
- More LOVE
- More PURPOSE
- More HAPPINESS
- More SUCCESS
- And more IMPACT for God’s Kingdom than you could ever imagine!
No matter how tangled your story feels, God’s got you covered. You’re far too valuable to ever fall through the cracks of His system.
You BELONG. You have WORTH. You were made for MORE!
