Mamas, can we be real for a second?
There was a time in my life—single mom, baby on hip, bad hair day—when all I wanted was five minutes to get ready in peace.
Just FIVE.
No crying, no diapers, no “Mommmm!” echoing through the house.
Fast forward to TODAY.
I’m in my bathroom again… makeup halfway on, again.
Only this time, it’s not because of chaos. It’s because I’m holding my grandbaby while getting ready.
(And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for the world!)
Isn’t it wild how the thing that felt like a burden in one season becomes such a blessing in another?
Back then, I was just trying to SURVIVE!
Now? I can see that God was with me in every moment. Even the messy ones. (Especially the messy ones.)
He was preparing me for the extraordinary beauty that was coming. And friend—He’s doing the same for you!
This Mother’s Day Week, you may be thinking, “I just need five minutes of peace!” (And I feel that with my whole heart.)
But believe me when I say: You’re gonna make it!
This season will pass. And one day, you’ll look back and see just how sweet—even sacred, all the chaos really was.

So take a breath, Mama, Mommy, Grammy, Nana, Bunny…
Peace is coming… and you’re doing BETTER than you think!
