I just wanted some sleep… but my brain refused to SHUT UP!
Dang! Has that ever happened to you?
It was one of those nights when I was trying to get some shuteye, but my mind just kept going and going!
“OMG! How am I going to get all this done? I’m only one person. There’s no way I can handle everything!”
The next morning, I was rushing around, my mind still lagging from lack of sleep, and I remembered that I was supposed to go shopping for my daughter.
“Oh SNAP! She needs those things TODAY!”
And then I realized that I was supposed to have a project ready for work that afternoon!
There’s just all this… STUFF!!!
We’re so tired because we’re trying to do everything ourselves! Sometimes, it can be hard to see our way around it.
But let me tell you: The Lord hears your heart. He hears those anxieties and concerns…and guess what? He cares about them ALL.
Just look at your past. You’ve been through a LOT!
You’ve made it here! God loves you too much to leave you feeling overwhelmed and under pressure.
Friend, we don’t have to be afraid of admitting what we’re NOT, because that’s when God can finally get to work.
Faith begins where our ability ends. It takes faith to say, “God, I can’t do this… but I know You CAN.”
I challenge you today… stop being a CONTROL FREAK! All that stuff that’s been weighing you down… be courageous and let it drop.
Seriously. God will take care of it. Trust me, He’s big enough to handle it!
