Hurricane Beryl, in Houston, was an epic storm that caused an incredible amount of damage and still has people reeling! 

I’ve been checking in on friends and praying for people. It’s hard to imagine living through that… and in that destruction.

I can’t help but reflect on the many hurricane threats we’ve lived through in Florida.

A couple of years ago, there was a BIG hurricane that was headed for Florida. It was ALL over the news… for DAYS!

This one was TWICE the size of the biggest storm that had ever come through… and it was bigger than the entire state of Florida.

People were running around trying to get prepared for this thing. Buildings were being boarded up and businesses were closing down early. 

It was INSANE! (And that was just the flurry before the storm even came.)

This whole situation really made me think about those unexpected moments in our lives that slap us up-side-of- the-head.

Maybe today, your storm isn’t a hurricane. Maybe it’s:

● My spouse completely flaked out.
● The relationship isn’t looking so good.
● The client just walked out on me.
● The bank account is drained. How did that happen?

Don’t you wish life would give us a little WARNING?

I’m here to tell you – even though the storm is STILL raging, that doesn’t mean that God isn’t moving, working for us behind the scenes!

We’re looking anxiously at everything and wondering, “God, where are You?!”

He’s saying, “Be calm. I’m about to do a miracle through you, right in the middle of your storm!”
