NOBODY is going to embarrass me like that! 

A while back, my friend was hosting a women’s conference with several guest speakers. One of them decided to call her up on stage… in front of everybody… for a pushup contest. 

“You PROCEED without PRAYING… and therefore, you PRODUCE without PROFIT.”

The Lord gave me that revelatory statement that halted me on my heels. We can’t separate

Our spiritual lives and our PROFESSIONAL lives. 
Our spiritual lives and our RELATIONAL lives. 
Our spiritual lives and our PHYSICAL HEALTH.

“Are you kidding me? Girl… nobody’s got time for that!”

But, the struggle was REAL. 

When Ashtyn was little, we took her to the boot store to get a pair of new western boots for riding. 

I wanted to shave my legs! (I mean… I thought I was missing something.)

Let’s face it. In the fifth grade, I was taller than MOST of the boys. (Honestly, I was taller than most of my teachers, too!) 

So, the boys that were interested in me were always a little older. That’s why I wanted to wear makeup long before my mom was ready to allow that.
