Back in the day…. I was in sales and I was making bank. When David tells the story, he makes me out to be a great salesperson. As much as I’d like to think that’s true, I know why I was so successful.

There was a theory. A plan. A numbers game. Make enough cold calls, set some appointments. Run enough appointments, make some sales. Make some sales, get paid. A whole lot of DON’T QUIT.

No super sales magic. I’m not the best closer in history. I just DID what needed to be done to lead to the outcome I wanted. It’s not glamorous. It’s not sexy. But it WORKS.

So Now About YOU

What is it that you want? And what does it take to get it?

There was a woman who wanted justice. The judge she had assigned to her case was heartless and corrupt. He dismissed her without even really hearing her.

The woman whose husband had died didn’t give up. She wouldn’t leave the judge alone. She stayed in his face. She showed up every day. And finally, FINALLY – he ruled for her because she wouldn’t give up. (Luke 8)

God honors persistence. God gives props to those that have faith. God rewards those who WILL NOT QUIT. God blesses the diligent – the one who gets out there every single day and does what no one else will do.

That was me. That was my talent. Just a whole lot of ‘I WON’T QUIT’. The cool thing about my talent is that YOU can have it too. You don’t have to be born with it. And it’s not hard to learn.

Just latch on like a pitbull and don’t let go.

At the end of that story the Bible says, “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.”

Don’t give up. It may have been a minute. You might not have seen the reward yet. You might be thinking, “It’s just not worth it.”

DON’T GIVE UP. God is about to avenge you speedily.

Talk to God about it today. Thank Him for working on it – because He has. Thank Him for looking out for you – because He is. And get up and go do your part because a diligent man, a faithful person, an “I’m not gonna quit” girl shall ABOUND in blessing. (Proverbs 28:20).

That’s your promise. That’s your reason. That’s why you DON’T QUIT. That’s why you KEEP DOING it. And that’s when you tell your success “look what God did for me” story. And I want to hear it!!!! We need YOUR encouragement today! If God has moved in your life after you just wouldn’t give up – tell us He did that for you RIGHT NOW! It will encourage those readers who are thinking about quitting right now – but they WILL NOT QUIT!
