Right after I filed for divorce, my crackhead ex-husband began searching for me.
So, I decided to run to Florida and hide… ALONE.
I resigned myself to the fact that life was just one huge junior high lunchroom, where being INVISIBLE was the only way to feel truly safe.
- I left my CHURCH full of people who were praying for me.
- I left my FAMILY, who had my best interest at heart.
- I left my CIRCLE of FRIENDS, who had hands extended out to me… all in the name of protecting myself!
But, I was playing right into the enemy’s hands!
Once he gets you alone, that’s when he really goes to work trying to take you DOWN, for good!
The Bible says, our enemy goes about AS a roaring lion. He’s NOT a roaring lion, he just ACTS like one… seeking whom he may devour.
A lion doesn’t usually pick on animals that are closely surrounded in a pack. Instead, he looks for ONE he can single out.
Our enemy is just WAITING for us to wander off on our own!
Without the strength and protection of the herd, we are weaker, more vulnerable… and EASY PICKINS!
Don’t be caught off-guard and ALONE!
If you’re in the struggle of your life, don’t let ANYTHING keep you from going to church!
In the face of really bad stuff, you need to be in a circle of believers who KNOW you and will PRAY for you!
Don’t just wander off!
Stick with a good group of Christian friends who will ALWAYS have your back!
