The other day I went through the drive-thru at Starbucks and was aggravated when my order came out totally WRONG!
So I talked to the barista and she read my order back to me. Yup! That’s EXACTLY what I said!
I ordered wrong! Dang it…
I released the wrong WORDS! I guess I wasn’t thinking and I ended up with something I didn’t want.
Whose fault was it? MINE! (This coffee came with a side of humble pie…)
What are we ordering in life… maybe without thinking? Are we going to like what we get at “the drive thru window of life” if we get what we’ve been speaking?
WHAT IF – our words are the determining factor that decides if we get our dream or not? This probably WON’T work! I’ve NEVER been good at anything! It’s just BAD LUCK!
WHAT IF – our words are responsible for how we feel in our physical bodies? I’m dead TIRED! I ‘ve got a splitting HEADACHE! My back is KILLING me!
WHAT IF – our words are causing us to miss out on the perfect, godly relationship? NO ONE is interested in me! Everybody good is ALREADY married! Just another LOSER!
WHAT IF – our future relies solely on the words we speak over our life, TODAY?
Make sure your mouth is pointed in the right direction! When you notice something NEGATIVE slipping out – just “shuttie!”
Your words have the POWER to change EVERYTHING in your life! So before you speak… ask yourself,
“Is this what I REALLY want?”

What is that negative thing you keep saying about yourself? (Hey, cut that out!)
Most of my life, I NEVER envisioned myself being “worthy” enough to do anything great for God. I was abandoned, molested, bullied, raped, abused, and nearly killed!
But God!!!
In my new book, “I Will Thrive,” I tell it all! This was a really difficult story for me to tell, because of all the HURT it brought back to the surface, for me.
My hope is, that it will strike a positive chord and help encourage many others to work through their PAIN to find total VICTORY! (Like I did!)
Do you know someone who’s been through some tough STUFF? Please, help me get this book in the hands of as many hurting people as possible.
