It doesn’t matter what happened TO you or what happened BECAUSE of you.
After junior high, my family moved! A new county and a new school district where NOBODY knew me. (There IS a God!)
I was popular. I got invited to parties. I was the girl who said “yes”—to EVERYTHING!
“We’re gonna sneak out to McDonald’s for lunch, wanna go?” Yes!
“Can I kiss you?” Yes!
“Want a shot?” Yes!
“Wanna make out?” Yes!
“Wanna try…?” Yes!
“Can I…?” (Okay, you get the picture.)
So, I guess it’s no BIG surprise that I was pregnant by the start of my senior year of high school.
No more cheerleading. No more school play. No more show choir.
When a local college offered me an academic scholarship, they actually HUNG UP on me when they found out I had a baby.
It was my WORST nightmare all over again!
In the beginning, LIFE had failed me. But then… I failed me. And I had no one to blame but myself!
I’m not sure what your epic misstep was, but God has been waiting for you to do it. It doesn’t surprise Him one bit.
In fact, you have no idea what He can do with this. God didn’t just work my situation out for my good… He absolutely BLEW me away!
You think you’ve SCREWED UP? You’re prepared to NEVER forgive yourself? You think you’ve REALLY done it this time?
God has a U-TURN for your future that you can’t necessarily see yet.
He says, “You’ve already been forgiven! Trust Me and watch what I can do.”
