A child views the world through a narrow lens. They can only see the small picture. Life is about their needs and wants. In a child’s world, it is all about Sesame Street, Barney and Disney. They often think life is small and all about them. As adults, we are to transition to the big picture. We are supposed to grow up and realize that it’s not all about us. We are called to live in the BIGGER PICTURE!
Explode Your View Of The World
We grow up thinking the world is just a box and it’s all about us in that box. God wants to blow the boundaries off of our box. He wants to blow the limits off of our life.
An Ephesians 3:20 God!
Now to Him, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20).
Now To Him Who Exceedingly
And ABOVE all we can ASK or THINK or even imagine.
God is beyond BEYOND! He is BEYOND all that we can ask for or imagine.
But, God, What You’re Asking Me Is Too Big!
We can grasp that God can handle our current picture, but we’re not sure that he can handle a bigger one. I told God once that what he was asking was too big, and he told me to look at the ocean. His point was that what he was asking me wasn’t big, the ocean; now THAT is BIG!
My Prayer For You
Lord, help each person reading this blog today to take the limits off of you. Help them to wrap their mind around the big picture that you have for their life. Help them to break out of the box! Amen.
