The first time I was pregnant, I was SO young! I was young and dumb and thought that “human making” was easy because I got pregnant without even TRYING!
I wasn’t sick. I didn’t gain that much weight. I slept great. I ate a Butterfinger and a grapefruit every day. Everything was FABULOUS!
I delivered right on schedule and was back in my “pre-prego” jeans within two weeks. I don’t know what all the fuss is about. It was EASY!
Then 13 years later, I decide I’m gonna do things right, this time. We’re gonna PLAN this one. I’m gonna have my second baby when I’m 30.
Instead…I had cervical cancer.
Okay, let’s try again. THIS time, I know it’s gonna be JUST RIGHT.
Instead…I had a miscarriage.
Can we talk about SETBACKS?
Are you facing a setback in your life, right now? Has someone told you that you CAN’T go on? Has someone told you HOW HARD this situation is gonna be for you?

Thankfully, setbacks are not permanent. Setbacks are just momentary. A delay is NOT a denial!

We have a choice to make. We can believe the people who tell us that we CAN’T, we WON’T or we’ll NEVER.
Or, we can choose to believe OUR LORD who created us, OUR FATHER that reminds us that everything is under control, OUR GOD that promises, “WE…WILL…RISE!”
