I was swimming about 80 feet below the surface of the ocean and marveling at all the UNBELIEVABLE “Alice in Wonderland like” things that God created.

It’s one of my FAVORITE places on the planet to be!!!

I don’t get to do it very often, so you’d THINK I would relish the moment.

Instead…I Got Distracted
I was WORRIED about David having a good time.

I was CONCERNED about another lady who kept trailing behind the rest of us.

Then my mask started leaking a little, and my mind started rehearsing scenarios about THAT!

In the most peaceful, serene and quiet place on the planet, I managed to LOSE my peace.

Do Not Disturb!
When we ALLOW our peace to be disturbed, nothing good ever comes of it.

• We LOSE what we were focused on.
• We STOP listening to God and “go to work”.
• We AREN’T trusting God, because we know the creator of the universe OBVIOUSLY needs our help sorting things out.
• We DON’T talk to God because now we’re too busy.
• So we MISS seeing the blessings of God because we’re too distracted to notice them all around us.

Take Care
We can still care ABOUT others without TAKING ON their care.

I can care about David having a good time without it weighing ME down.

I can care if that other woman on the dive is ok, without strapping her care (like a yoke) to MY shoulders.

I can care if my stupid, cheap, rental mask is leaking, WITHOUT starting a mental dialogue. “What if this happens the whole time? Will I still have fun? Will I be ok?”

Waiting To Be Praised!
The entire time that I was worried about OTHER things, I didn’t notice one PHENOMENAL creature under the sea!

They were there…WAITING to be noticed. God was there…WANTING to be praised.

Today, don’t miss the gorgeous flowers that God made bloom just to brighten YOUR day!

Consider the amazing cloud formations that He fashioned for YOUR enjoyment that would make the cover of any calendar!
