I was totally WRECKED!  I’d been left by a guy who developed a crazy drug problem, hocked everything we owned, maxed out our credit cards, and drained our bank accounts.  When he walked out, I was bankrupt, foreclosed on, in despair, and my son and I were eating out of a food pantry.  So when I remarried… I guess I was still a little nervous.
