12 things I learned in 2012
#2 Putting a brick on your kid’s head won’t keep them from growing up.
Every season of life changes so quickly and I have learned that you can’t go back.
Don’t be in a hurry to get married, you get to do whatever you want whenever you want right now.
Don’t rush through the terrible two’s, they are cute too.
Don’t be excited about school starting you’ll miss them.
Don’t be in hurry for them to graduate, these are the last days they live at home
Don’t be in a hurry for grandkids, you get your kids attention more now.
Pause, embrace every moment and enjoy it for what it uniquely is.
That’s good stuff. A little sad, but sweet. Especially enjoyed #4….thought of Austin. xoxojv
Jonnie – A brick on Austin’s head kept him to a petite 6’3″ – lol!
Thank you for this!!!
I am having so much fun doing this Lois! We need to put your music on the blog somehow!
I agree with everything you just said Nicole! I have a 2 year old and he is my first and yes sometimes I wish I could put a brick on his head. The time goes by so fast and there is no going back. I live my days to the fullest with him and he makes me the happiest I’ve ever been!
This is so true. I have been packing for a move and enjoying looking at all the pics of my kids when they were little. The twins are 9 now. I think back on just how quickly 9 years have gone by. In 9 more, they will be on the way to college 🙁 We have so much more to do between now and then!
