We all have a little good and a little bad hiding inside us. 

On the outside, we look polished… hair done, makeup on point, outfit slayin’. We’ve got “the look.”

But… have you ever smiled like you’re the best friend in the world… while secretly hoping that friend’s promotion would fall flat? 

(Not you. Never.) We’re way too good for that… right?

Here’s the truth: sometimes what looks “picture perfect” on the outside is hiding some serious UGLY on the inside.

We’ve all had that celeb crush… loved their style, loved their vibe… until they did something shady and poof! The shine wore off. 

Turns out we loved the IDEA of them more than the actual them.

Let’s be honest: most of us size people up before we ever know their name. Clothes, shoes, that “put together” vibe… it all speaks louder than words. 

But just because someone looks polished doesn’t mean they’ve got a polished heart. And here’s the kicker: we’re ALL a little bit David and a little bit Saul from the Bible. 

Yep. Both the saint and the struggler live inside us.

When we hear David, we think “the good guy.” Poet. Worshipper. Man after God’s own heart. But let’s not forget… same guy stole another man’s wife, got her pregnant, and had her husband killed.

Yikes! That’s a whole lot of bad with the good.

And Saul? We stamp him “the bad guy.” But rewind—he started humble. So insecure he was literally hiding in the luggage when God called him out. 

Later, though, depression and pride got the best of him, and he made some seriously bad calls. See? Both good and bad.

So what does that mean for us? 

We’ve got to learn to separate the “good fruit” from the junk. The Spirit from the flesh. The better YOU from the sabotaging YOU.

But here’s the good news: if you’re willing to actually look inside, you’ll find what’s really there… and God can always work with that. 

Awareness is the first step toward growth.

And that’s exactly what we’re going to dig into at this FREE I Am Woman event: “For Good”.
