If God can look at dirt and think to create man, He certainly isn’t scared of the dirty places in our lives.

And know that SHOCKS a lot of us. But if He sees everything, knows everything – even before it happens – then He can handle it.

And not just handle it. He looks at those and sees the creative potential. He uses it for good.

God will work ALL things (even my mistakes) together for my good.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, for the saving of many lives.

God doesn’t just sit in the heavens on His laurels getting fat. He goes out BEFORE us. He gets to where we are going before we get there. Even if it is somewhere we have NO BUSINESS being.

He goes out before us in the dessert. In the trial. In the sick room. To the drug addict. In the conversation where we said to much. Into the bed where we didn’t belong.

He went before us because He loves us. And while He waits for us, He prepares a way of escape. Then He waits until we get there.

WHY????

So He can be there WITH us. He NEVER leaves us. He never forsakes us. He doesn’t leave us in disgust in the dirty places of our lives. He LOVES us so much that He went there before us, made a way out, waited for us, and is calling us and pointing to the way out while He stays there with us.

That’s a God I can serve.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 ESV

It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV
