Elijah was a man who was living a big life. He was a man with a plan who mentally got trapped in a teeny, tiny box. He had just been used by God to set fire to soaking wet wood and to kill 450 prophets that worshipped other gods. Elijah should have been on top of the world yet he got to the point of finding himself under a tree begging God to kill him. That happens when our thinking is framed in and limited.
Try Coloring Outside The Lines
The dream that God has for our life is BIG. He is coloring outside the lines so much that we can’t wrap our minds around it. God WANTS us to shed our limits. He laughed as he said, “Nicole, I’m going to have you start two campuses in one year!” God only tells us a little bit at a time because we can’t handle it.
God Uses Our Life Lessons For Our Good. (Romans 8:28)
I had a full ride scholarship; I was pregnant, and when I talked to that college and told them I needed childcare they hung up on me. We tend to judge our whole life based on ONE moment in time, God knows what the one moment means in our life. God took the framework of my life and my decisions and fit it into a much bigger picture.
God Wants To Blow The Doors Off Of What You Think You Can Do
My thoughts are not your thoughts. My ways are not your ways. Isaiah 55:8
The way we think, God can’t use a pregnant mama.
The way we think, God can’t keep our business from failing.
The way we think, God can’t fix our relationship.
The way we think, God can’t break our addiction.
You Are A Possibilities God Because With You All Things Are Possible
Lord, we know that you think exceedingly and abundantly more of us than we think of ourselves. Help us to view ourselves through your eyes. Thank you for using our challenges for good and for loving us so much that you make BIG PLANS for our lives! Amen!
