The tears were sticking in the back of my throat and I didn’t know what to say…
I was all by myself. I was scared. And if I’m being honest … a little doubtful.
I had gone to the doctor for a routine appointment and all the usual tests. (All my lady friends know how much fun that is … NOT.)
Well, they found some things they didn’t like, so I got called in for a few more tests. (Honestly, I wasn’t worried about anything.)
No one would tell me what was really going on, except that they wanted to start all these treatment plans.
I felt like I wanted a second opinion.
That’s how I ended up in my car with my medical file open on the seat beside me. The words glared up at me.
CX Stage Four… CANCER!!!
It’s incredible how much POWER words have. That ONE word could steal my whole future!
In those first moments of a crisis, it’s so important to choose what voices we’re going to listen to.
I knew I had to call David. But what do we do now?
The report may look BAD. The fight, too BIG to win. But we’re not moved by our feelings. We’re moved by our FAITH.
David said, “FIRST, we don’t freak out. Do you believe God can heal a headache? Then why can’t God heal Cancer?
A few words from the doctor made my whole world fall apart. All it took was ONE WORD from God to put all the pieces back together.
That was over seventeen years ago. There is NO cancer in my body, today!
God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!
No matter how BIG the situation may seem, He will meet you in the place of your weakness and walk you THROUGH!
If He did it for me… He’ll do it for YOU!
