I heard something I didn’t wanna hear. Nuh uh!

“Get thee behind me Satan!” (except, he wasn’t back there) All I saw was Jesus. Aw… man!

What was it?

Before I was a pastor, I worked in the corporate world. Financially, I was doing verrrrrry well.

But suddenly, I got this lack of peace. I felt like I was supposed to quit my job.

WHAT? How does that make any sense? Gotta be the devil, right?

You may be thinking, “That’s awesome! God was about to give you a new, better job.” Nope. 

He told me to go volunteer full-time at my father-in-law’s church. They couldn’t afford to pay me, so I just worked for Jesus. (That’s four years loss of income, right?)

Well, fast-forward four years, when my father-in-law took an express train to Heaven. David and I were wondering… what do we do, now?

Let me ask YOU a question.

What is God asking you to do that you haven’t done yet? What’s causing you to hesitate?

God knows who you’re called to be. You’re already on your way. But, will you believe Him?

You try to tell God you don’t have what it takes. (As if, He doesn’t know what you’re capable of.)

Walking out your calling is going to be challenging because everyone can’t go with you. But YOU … you obey what He told you. Obedience is the blessing exchange.

For four years, God had me on the front row of Bible School, learning how to run a church. Because I was going to NEED that more than anything!

So, God hadn’t asked me to step down. He’d actually asked me to STEP UP and prepare for my future!

Know that, where you’re headed is even MORE powerful than where you are, now.
