One day, I was driving through a very nice neighborhood near Palm Beach, Florida, when I saw a guy and a gal digging through the TRASH. What?
The man had his head WAY down in the can and was pulling out garbage. Here was a nice-looking couple, in the middle of an affluent neighborhood, literally EATING out of a trash can!!!
WOW!!! I wonder what happened to trip that trigger??? How did they ever get to that point?
I’m convinced that those things we hold onto in our inner life will eventually affect what happens in our OUTER life.
Picture one of those shiny metal (Oscar the Grouch) trash cans. WE are the container… the Temple of the Holy Spirit. We’re start out life, all bright, shiny, and NEW!
Everybody is our friend. 🙂 Then we go to kindergarten and some kid STEALS our crayons! What???
We get in a relationship and hear, “It’s not you, it’s me!” Huh? How does that even work? (Talk about hurting your self-esteem!)
WARNING: If we never get rid of that OLD pain and rejection, it just starts to pile up in our can. Life feels ROTTEN and it begins to stink!
So, we end up going for years just holding our nose, from one heartbreak and betrayal… to the next. It feels like our life has been trashed!
You probably know someone like that, who’s been holding on to EVERY past hurt. It’s like, “Whew! You smell FUNKY today! WHOA! Who did you wrong?”
Stop digging around in that NASTY hurt and kick it to the curb! You aren’t meant to live on the stage of a beautiful life, rummaging in the trash of your past.
If it’s something you did… ADMIT it, QUIT it, and FORGET it! If it’s something that was done TO you… forgive and LET IT GO! God loves you too much to leave you here!
It’s His Will for us to have PEACE. Take out your trash and get on with your life!

Do you have something nasty in your past that you’d like to dump… once and for all? “Y” or “N”
Yeah, I spent a lot of years living in the trash can, myself, and feeling like I wasn’t ever good enough. But, I don’t want you to have to go through that.
That’s why I wrote my new book, “I Will Thrive.” With God’s help, the lid is finally off the can and all my deepest, darkest secrets have been exposed to the light.
I hope that my book will touch your heart and give you the confidence and courage you need to finally take out the trash from your past and live a glorious new life!
