Bring It!
As the mother of a baseball player, I’ve endured MANY hard bleachers while watching and WAITING, on the off chance that I’d be there when Austin was called into the game.

When you’re a pitcher, even on days when you don’t start, you STILL have to be READY to come in and perform at a moment’s notice.

You just NEVER know when you’re going to get the call. But YOUR ability to “bring the heat” when needed, may ultimately determine the outcome for OTHERS.

What do we bring to the table?
• Is it PASSION?
• Is a pursuit of EXCELLENCE?
• Is it FAITHFULNESS?
• Is it our TIME and TALENT?
• Is it our TREASURE?

God has always BLESSED people who unselfishly bring their gifts to use for HIS purposes.

A Servant’s Heart
In Genesis 24, Abraham’s servant goes to the well looking for a wife for Isaac. It was his good fortune that Rebekah was there, because she was ready to BRING IT!

Not ONLY did she offer to carry water for him, but ALSO for his men AND all their camels.

(They just sat there and WATCHED her while she did all the heavy lifting. What’s up with that?)

A Daunting Task
It’s pretty AMAZING, when you think about how much 10 thirsty camels could drink, plus the size and weight of the clay pot that Rebekah had to carry on her shoulders.

She must have made AT LEAST 50 round trips back and forth to that well, before it was all done.

But because she had a CHEERFUL attitude when there was NO promise of any reward, God made SURE that she was generously compensated.

And then, He gave her a RICH husband, to boot!

90% of life is just showing up!
Sometimes we feel like we have NOTHING to bring. But just having the willingness to help and a positive ATTITUDE is a great start!

“Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.” 1Peter 3:8 (NLT)

We can bring the TALENT that we’ve forgotten, our WORTH that we doubt and our OFFERING that we scoff at because we think it’s not enough.

God, use what we have! We WON’T quit!

Put us in the game…we’re READY to “bring it”!
