Have you ever looked through the lens during an eye exam only to see that it’s all blurry? Then the doctor turns a few knobs and all of a sudden the view is crystal clear with crisp, clean lines! You were are able to see because he changed the focus.
Your FOCUS determines what you SEE with clarity.
Concentrate on whatever is good, NOT the negatives!
Think about whatever is a blessing NOT a curse!
Job was up to his neck in great adversity and he focused on the needs of his friends, not on his circumstances because circumstances change.
In the midst of his turmoil, when Job prayed for his friends, the ones who spoke ill of God, God restored his fortunes. The Lord also gave Job twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10)
This is a tremendous example that shows if you’re WILLING TO CHANGE YOUR FOCUS and help God to help other people in your life, you will be twice as effective as before.
LIE: God helps those who help themselves.
TRUTH: God helps those who help others.
You can have everything in life you want, when you help other people to have what they want.
