When things go south, it’s not always because of the conditions in our life…it’s usually because of the DECISIONS in our life.
Our decisions will eventually become our DESTINY. So we have to make careful, conscious decisions.
Pause— pray— listen for peace—then obey!
Trust me. Unconscious, off-the-cuff decisions are usually ALWAYS wrong! We’re not really thinking and we just allow stuff to happen to us.
Even when we choose to do nothing— we’re actually choosing to do SOMETHING! We’ve decided NOT to decide.
Have you ever suffered from “decision paralysis?” Avoid making any important decisions at night, when you’re tired.
We can’t allow the emotion of the moment to dictate our decisions. Because, that thing we REALLY want to do, in the heat of the moment, is probably the absolute WRONG thing!
- We want to CUT them off!
- We want to FLIP them off!
- They do NOT have the right!
- We want to tell them EXACTLY what we think!
- We want to post it on Instagram and vent to the WHOLE WORLD!
PAUSE— and wait just a minute.
Ask yourself; is this decision going to help me or come back to HURT me? It takes a much stronger person to hold their tongue than to let it loose.
Our mouth may have gotten us into a mess— but God knows how to get us out. Pause— Pray— Listen for Peace—then Obey!
God said He would gladly give wisdom to ANYONE who asks.
