If I want to get together with my mom… I’ll text her. Because that’s what people MY age do—we TEXT!
When Mom wants to do something with me, she usually calls. Because that’s what people HER age do— they CALL! Lol
Either way—we stay connected because my family loves to “do life” TOGETHER!
Whether, it’s my mom with me — or me with Austin, MJ, and Ashtyn. Basically, moms just want to be near their “babies”—no matter how OLD they get!
Can you relate?
We do CHURCH, together. We SHOP, together. We watch MOVIES, together. And we definitely EAT, together! (Sometimes, too much!)
I guess when you LOVE your kids— you just want to be around them, as much as possible. That’s what MOMS do!
So, here’s the real test! Even after WEEKS of forced quarantine— we STILL love being together!
Do you ever consider that God is as much female as he is male? He’s our Mother, as well as, our Father.
Most of the time, we don’t think about how MUCH God wants to be around us— but He does— just like our mommas do!
- He wants to WORK with us and be at HOME with us.
- He wants us to EAT together and SHOP together.
- He wants to ENJOY “family time” with us.
What a great reason to set aside time for God in the morning and to keep talking to Him, throughout the day!
Because, what He wants MORE THAN ANYTHING, is the same thing I want, you want, and my momma wants.
God wants to spend more quality time with His “babies!” (Congratulations… that’s you!)
