What if being “blessed” means we might LOSE some friends and have to MOVE from where we used to be?
WHAT??? That doesn’t sound like much of a blessing!
But, God wants to position us WHERE we need to be. He knows exactly WHO we need to be around in order for us to succeed to the level that He has planned for us.
So, what initially looks like a LOSS to us may actually be a huge GAIN!
Making Room
God told Jacob to leave his job, his in-laws, and his friends and pack up and MOVE.
Then the LORD said to Jacob, “Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.” Genesis 31:3 (NIV)
What seems like a big step BACKWARD, might be God’s way of making room for NEW friends and getting us to the NEW place that He has prepared for us!
Movin’ On Up!
You know, God’s way of promotion probably won’t look ANYTHING like we anticipated.
But if we’ll move in HIS direction, what looks like REVERSE is always going to be a supernatural leap FORWARD!
Moving WITH God is always #WorthIt, no matter WHO or WHAT we have to leave behind!
Prayer For Today
“God, give me the courage to move how You want me to move, where You want me to move, when You want me to move and with whom You want me to move. I trust Your movements, God! In Jesus’ Name.”

We have recently been going through a small storm. But God has
assured us that it is all Him!

So we are trusting and standing on his word.
Sadly, this is the first real trial we have had to go through, and finding ourselves in need of spiritual mentors. Who prays for the pastors when THEY are going through something? We have a staff team that is very young, not used to seeing their Pastors in need.
This word spoke to me more than you will ever know! Thank you!

Moving can be scary. However, moving in the direction god is calling will only lead to more. So I am trying to trust him more as so much in my life is moving and scary…I will walk in faith. Will you?
Thank you for sharing this. I recently needed to let go a relationship of 5 years and it has been tough because this relationship had meant so much to me. It did not make sense in reality but I knew it was right in my spirit. I appreciate the encouragement in your post and to see my situation in new eyes.
