One of my FAVORITE things about Christmas is all the beautiful lights! My LEAST favorite part about Christmas is when it’s over and we’re supposed to take them all down.

I like the way the lights add life and make me feel all WARM on the inside. When the Christmas lights go out in our neighborhood, it seems like the world is a much darker place than it was before.

If I had MY way, I would leave the Christmas lights on our house all year round. But, David says that’s NOT acceptable because it makes us look like “rednecks”! lol

I kind of feel the same way about JESUS being the “light of the world”. We put Him FRONT AND CENTER in December, when it’s ‘socially acceptable’ to talk about Him. But as soon as Christmas is over, we put Him back on the shelf and the world goes DARK again.

Are you going to let YOUR light go out with all the other Christmas lights at the end of the season?

The same way that I have to plug in our Christmas lights every morning so that I can see them; I also need to remember to plug in MY light every morning by reading my Bible.

“Hi God, It’s me again! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!”

Talking to God, daily, and getting directly connected to His power source helps us recharge so we can remain CHILDREN of LIGHT all year long!

Have a safe and beautiful holiday! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks for taking the time to write this great blog. It’s truly a reminder, not only about the true meaning of Christmas. But the true meaning of our lives. Christ must be at forefront all year round.

Thank you for reminding all of us that Jesus is the light of the world. One of my favorite hymns is “Jesus The Light of The World.” Jesus the light of the world; shine all around us by day and by night. Merry Christmas to my awesome pastors and family. God bless.

What about those who are alone on Christmas?
    Where is His light?
I talk with Him but conversation is one sided. A small light, please?
I have woken up and is Christmas Day. I have my beloved dogs and cats. If on ly He could send a few Humans who are genuine.

Love the ligitoo. Why don’t we acknowledge the true 12 days of Christmas any more… Christmas until the Epiphany….why doesn’t the church encourage taking more time for family Christmas time? Love you all!
