Aren’t you tired of hearing preachers paint THIS picture?
“If God has called you to do it, then He’s going to pour it ALL in your lap. All you have to do is BELIEVE for it.”
Basically, they are saying, “If it’s HARD…then it must NOT be God.”
What an absolute LIE!
Paid With A Price
Everything that God asks us to do will usually COST us something.
SMALL things…not so much. But GREAT things come at a GREATER personal price.
“…and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.” Luke 12:48 (NLT)
Wasn’t it God’s WILL for Jesus to go to the cross?
How incredibly HARD was that?
Well Worth It
So many times, the thing that God puts in OUR heart comes with a great DESIRE.
That’s so we’ll have the STRENGTH and PASSION to fight for it all the way to completion.
It was LOVE, not nails, that held Jesus on the cross.
It’s called the FIGHT of faith because there IS a hard fight.
But, if the dream is worth having then it’s well WORTH fighting for!
Take Heart
Jesus warned us that things would get tough.
“…Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.” John 16:33 (NLT)
The great news is we’re NOT fighting this HARD thing alone.
We have the HELP of Almighty God all the way through!
“…But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NLT)
