Young Lion Leaders
Recently, God asked us to pray and seek Him about WHAT IT MEANS to raise up a team of young LEADERS.

While we recognize that we have wisdom on our staff; we also have a LOT of YOUNG LIONS that we’re responsible for.

That means we’re bringing up a group of young ‘uns who (from their sheer lack of experience) sometimes FRUSTRATE me so much that I want to run screaming down the hallway! (But don’t tell them I said that.)

Young Leaders are Hungry
“The young lions lack and suffer hunger, But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Psalm 34:10 (NKJV)

As the more mature leaders, we want to encourage the young leaders natural HUNGER in order to keep them motivated, without allowing them to CANIBALIZE their own success.

• Hungry to be trusted.
• Hungry for power.
• Hungry to be promoted.
• Hungry to be in-charge.
• Hungry to be recognized

The Big Payoff
It’s true that young leaders lack in so many areas: EXPERIENCE, WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, FINANCES and on-the-job TRAINING. Those things will come with time.

But by mentoring creative, energetic, FEROCIOUS young lions, our investment will be MULTIPLIED, if we’ll just take the time to wrestle with them a little.

In a few years, we’ll have developed a healthy pride of “skilled-beyond-their-years” NEW lion trainers.

A Living Legacy
We don’t want to LIMIT the legacy of what God has called us to do in our lifetime.

So we’ll keep praying and investing in our YOUNG LIONS who will stretch FAR BEYOND us and continue to build long after we’re resting.

Has God asked you to speak into the next generation, grow-up a church, an organization, a product or team?

Don’t be content to sit and watch it happen from the sidelines. Get involved!

We‘re training our future leaders to roar with success!!!

Wow, this puts a different perspective on this. It’s so easy to get frustrated with Young Leaders, but this post was right on point. Thanks.

well there are a lot of things that are sospuped to happen one of my friends though is very analytical and he was talking about all these things like this chinese data chart that actually predicted all of the ups and downs in the history of the world and it is accurate it even predicted the high point and low point of the roman empire and in 2011 actually it ends at an extremely low point and he was talking about how with all the leap years added on to these calendars and everything that he estimated that the date of the sospuped destruction is december 21 2011 but i think that there will just be a major change in the world maybe america will cease to exist or something good might happen we will just have to wait and see
