Do you ever feel like you’re just not GOOD enough?
(Like God must’ve accidentally dialed your number when He was handing out opportunities?)
Years ago, I was SO gangly and uncoordinated that a guy I dated nicknamed me “the baby calf.”
Later, when I got into business, I noticed that all the guys seemed nervous around me because I was always so much taller than they were. (Especially if I wore heels.)
Have you ever dealt with some kind of insecurity?
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked at my life and thought, “Why me, Lord? I’m not wise enough, spiritual enough, or holy enough for this!”
And you know what God told me?
“Nicole, YOU don’t have to be good enough. You just have to receive My grace and walk in it.”
(Mind. Blown.)
See, we always think God’s looking for the most qualified. But He’s actually looking for the most willing.
He used Moses (the stutterer), David (the struggler), and even Jonah (the runner). If He can use a dead guy like Lazarus… we’re DEFINITELY still in the running!
Who is “worthy,” anyway? Everybody screws up. Everybody sins. Everybody makes mistakes.
No matter how we began, if we’ll put our story in God’s hands, He’s written for us a fabulous FINISH!
But that stinking enemy knows just how to work us!
He loves to whisper, “You’re not worthy. It’s too late. You’ve wasted your big chance!
But God shouts louder, “I made you for THIS moment!” And friend, He really did.
I used to hoard fancy gifts people gave me… saving them for a special occasion. Years later, they were still sitting there, unopened.
Sometimes, we treat ourselves like that.
We’re waiting to feel worthy enough to be used. But the truth? God already says we are!
So go ahead and wear the expensive perfume, eat off the good china, and walk in your calling like you truly belong there… because you DO!
Not because you’re perfect… but because HE is.
So know this:
- God created you for this opportunity.
- He created you for now!
- He created you to be over and not under.
- Above and not beneath.
He created you For Good!
And, He intends to take you to places bigger, life more abundant, and fulfill your dreams beyond what you can ever imagine!

It’s not about being worthy. It’s about being willing. You don’t have to be good enough… He already is!
