It’s a question that we all seem to grapple with. What was meant for me? Why am I here? Sound familiar? I thought it might.

Here is what I do know.

You are called to more than you know. Jesus doesn’t just call us out to do what He did (ummm – that already feels ambitious), He calls us out to do MORE than he did. What????

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12 NKJV

GULP. If you’re like me, you are already trying to explain that away… “What He meant was…” “The point of that is really…”

Jesus was the kind of guy that didn’t mince words and He meant what He said and He said what He meant. He believes in you 100%.

He says – “YOU. Right there. Cowering in the corner and trying to not make eye contact. Yeah, you. I believe in you. I am calling YOU. Matter of fact, I destined you. Now quit doubting ME. Yeah, it’s ME you doubt as you sit there and wonder. Now get up and start believing that I will help you do everything you feel in your heart to do but know you can’t do by yourself. THAT is where I come in.”

WOW! That makes me stop.

Could it possibly be? Yes. It is.

You and I are called beyond what we can ask, think or conceive. That’s Ok though. Why? Because we serve a God that commands us to walk in faith and believe Him to do BEYOND anything that would ever occur to our natural mind.

Follow Him to the impossible, because He is the God of the impossible. Do the unimagined, because He is more than we can imagine. Don’t be afraid if it looks too big, because God is bigger.

Today let’s stop believing the enemy, the inner-me and those ding-dongs that feel free to run there their chatterbox about how we shouldn’t be. Let’s tune them out and incline our ear, listen in and pay attention to the God of the Universe and Lover of Your Soul. He doesn’t say, ‘you could be’. He sees that You are – in Him.
You are called to greatness – today.

Praise God.Nicole you are inspiring me so much I love your teachings. The sentence that stands out for me is “now get up and start believing that I will help you do everything you feel in your heart to do but know you can’t do by yourself.” I am searching for more purpose in my life and dreams to achieve new opportunities with work.
I am called for greatness I’m truly starting to believe this.
