Have you ever had a fair-weather friend? You know the type. They’re friendly when times are GOOD, but hard to even locate when things “go south”.
They want to be around you when you’re talking to the boss or when the project is going well. They’re your BEST friend when you’re hanging out with that cute guy or that popular girl.
But, if they don’t see any benefit for them, personally, they’re long gone! (The NERVE of some people!)
Be HONEST. Have you ever treated God like a fair-weather friend?
I know I have.
After we’ve made a mess of our lives, that’s when we call on God and pretend that it wasn’t all OUR fault.
When my ex-husband left me, charged up all our credit cards and then cleaned out the bank account to buy drugs, God NEVER left me.
We were eating, thanks to a local food pantry…. but at least we had FOOD. I remember shopping at pawn shops for Christmas presents for my son…but at least I had SOMETHING to give him.
It was MY fault that I married the wrong man. But God NEVER said “I told you so!” He just stayed by my side the entire time.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t praise Him ENOUGH for the nicer husband and the brighter future that He had planned for me.
Praise God, right in the MIDDLE OF YOUR MESS, and He’ll give you your own personal bravery to make it through!
God is NOT a “fair-weather” friend. HE STICKS!!!

On Point and heart felt, Great Stuff Nicole!! Thank you both for all you do. It’s nice to see when pastors weave in events in their personal lives that can be humbling to reveal, but it allows us to see life while A Christian does not guarantee it will be all sunshine and rainbows.
Pastor Nicole,
I thank God for using you in mighty ways. Thank you for being a willing vessel to allow Him to use you to minister to us. It does make a true difference and it means a lot.
Amen sister.amen!!!!!!!!!!
Praise God!
