Have you ever felt like, “How could God possibly use me?”
When I graduated from high school, I had a scholarship that I was really excited about! (Almost as excited as my parents.) But, when I called the college to inquire about childcare… they just hung up on me!
How in the world could God use a pregnant, unwed, teenage momma? Not even the secular college wanted anything to do with me.
What do you do when you register a big FAIL in life?
The dream that God has for our life is big, Big, BIG! Regardless of what we’ve done, God KNEW what we were going to do and He decided to create us, anyway.
One of my favorite Hillsong worship songs has the lyric, “I was found before I was lost. I was Yours before I was not.” My mind reels and my eyes well up with tears.
Would God help us fix our relationships, break this addiction, save our failing business? The answer is a resounding – YES!
I probably wouldn’t forgive someone else of what I’m asking Him to forgive me of. But, His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. (Isaiah 55:8)
God’s so busy coloring outside the lines of our lives, so much so, that we can’t even begin to wrap our minds around it.
It’s a grace that doesn’t even add up. He’s just THAT good! Sit back, and watch the God of Possibilities blow the doors off your expectations!
