Have you ever sat near someone at a ballgame that continually YELLED at players way down on the field…like they thought they might ACTUALLY hear them?

Like 50,000 other people aren’t yelling, TOO?

(I just made that EMOJI FACE with the wide eyes and straight line mouth.)

Talk About Annoying!
Blind Bartimaeus sat by the road outside Jericho YELLING at Jesus as He passed by. (Mark 10:46-52)

• They told him to be QUIET– he YELLED anyway!
• They tried to SQUASH his dream – he BELIEVED anyway!
• They tried to STUFF him inside the limits where they thought he should stay – but he SAW the bigger picture!

He Didn’t Care What Other People Thought!
He wasn’t about to allow SMALL THINKING, SMALL MINDED, SMALL PICTURE people wreck the BIG picture for him!

Jesus heard him and called him over. (It’s odd, but He didn’t GO TO the blind man. You wouldn’t think that’s how God would operate.)

But, we’d have to think much BIGGER to think like God.

Bartimaeus had so much faith that his situation was CHANGING, that he jumped up and THREW OFF his old garment that indicated to people that he was blind.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)

He reached out and groped and stumbled his way toward Jesus…guided only by his FAITH.

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your faith has made you well.’ And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.” Mark 10:52 (NKJV)

Bartimaeus stepped out of his small thinking and small living and stepped into the BIG PICTURE God saw for him.

That’s What God Sees For Us!
He sees a much BIGGER picture, a ZOOMED-OUT outcome and a BLESSING way beyond anything we are dreaming about now!

Bust out of that small thinking and BELIEVE BIG!

Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank you for the spiritual vision you have given us to see the good things that lie ahead in our futures. When we’re temporarily blinded by the world’s outlook we resolve to walk by faith in You and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Have you ever been in a bad situation that forced you to proceed with BLIND FAITH? Maybe you would tell us about it?

This past week as I watched an amazing woman walk her journey to be with the Lord I realized that a bigger Faith than I ever knew and a bigger Faith that I have ever seen exists.
