Have you ever noticed, little kids can’t do much of ANYTHING by themselves? They can’t even wipe their own booty…right? When they finally get old enough for that, it’s such a blessing!
Those words, “I’m DONE!”, never made any parent happy.
Little kids can’t even make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, because it takes longer to clean up after them then to just make the sandwich ourselves, in the first place.
They can’t brush their own teeth. They can’t put themselves to bed or get up and comb their own hair.
Face it. Little children are pretty HELPLESS!
We are all CHILDREN OF GOD! And the good news is, our Father doesn’t expect us to do much for ourselves.
He says, to seek HIM and He will reward us.
He wants us to stay close to Him, talk to Him, get to know Him and He will take care of all the heavy lifting. All we have to do is be obedient and take care of THAT THING that He puts right in front of us.
Today, if you’re dealing with something that seems overwhelming, RELAX! God does not expect you to handle those things that are bigger than you are.
After all, you’re just a child…HIS CHILD!
He’s our GOOD FATHER. Stop worrying. Being helpless is not so bad!
SEEK God first. BELIEVE in Him. Totally DEPEND on Him as a child would. He has our reward, our protection, our peace and all the provision we’ll ever need!

I sometimes I just do things and then I stop and say Daddy help me sorry that I didn’t come to you.
I totally depend on you God for everything help me to just seek you even when things are not going good. And when they are going good to thank you for you grace and mercy.
Thank you for bringing this message to me today, I needed it. I needed a reminder that God is in control, I need to lean on him not the world or humans. I keep thinking I have to handle it all and all by myself….Thank you Jesus for sending Pastor Nicole to my email ????????????????

Have been listening. I gave my troubles to God and he has taken me out of my current job. I have a job interview on Thursday making 3x the amount I have been making. And it is with a Christian company. I have sold my abilities short for so long. Thank You faith church. Without you I would still be alone. Never again will I feel that way. God Bless You.

An old employer’s greed & lack of integrity has continuously been attacking me. My safety was at risk, and I left the job for my own wellbeing and to give my wife a peace of mind.
