The other night, I got a frantic email from one of my team about a big event that we’ve been planning. Our venue was no longer available! We have no choice; we’ll have to move it or cancel!
WHAT? You gotta be kidding me!
So, we immediately started looking for open dates and we couldn’t find ANYTHING within 3 months!
What are we going to do? I’m SHOOK! I’m FREAKING OUT! This DOESN’T FIT! How am I going to make this work?
I stressed about it all evening and then went to bed. The next morning when I got up… I FINALLY prayed about it.
I asked God, “Are You up to something?”
- “Are You trying to do something NEW?
- “Are You trying to move us to a NEW SPACE?
- “Are You trying to move us to a NEW NIGHT?
- “Are You trying to do things in a NEW WAY?”
“God, I’m NOT gonna try to make this fit. Far be it from me to get in Your way!”
What is the Creator of the Universe trying to say? What if this move is not even about us? What if God is trying to keep people out of hell and He just wants to use us?
Working with God requires an enormous amount of TRUST!
We have to relax and just be content to be pieces on God’s giant chessboard. Be FLEXIBLE and willing to move at His command because only He can see the entire board!
“Ok God, I’m here…it’s Your move!”

Pastor Nicole, this hit Home for me. 2-weeks ago my family and I moved into a rental home only to be hit with unexpected plumbing issues that also revealed mold. Initially I was devastated because it took months to plan this move. We ended up having to move everything back to our old place. I knew that I needed to trust God. In two weeks we were able to find a new home that provided a greater blessing for our family. God is always on time!

Yes, my nephew ‘s wedding was supposed to be on the 1st of April but at short notice the venue was changed but guess it was a blessing in disguise. The wedding was held on the 2nd. Oh! What s beautiful wedding it was!!

Yes God has drastically rearranged events in my life. He has turned my mess into my message. He’s has delivered me from a demonic spirit of substance abuse (crack and alcohol ). I’ve been clean now for 8 years. This was accomplished by my faith in the word of God, and by fasting and prayer. Now that I’ve been set free I made a vow to the Lord to help those that are still in the bondage. Although, I don’t know exactly where or how to start my interest in an I-connect group. But I do know that the I-connect ministry program that you and David has started would be beneficial to me and many others. I have visited your sunset hills location and I’ve heard you and your husband speak on several occasion. You both have definitely made an powerful impact in my spirituality.
