I remember how much David’s dad LOVED working on old cars. In fact, he had two big red tool chests in his garage just loaded with TOOLS.

I had NO idea what most of them were, or what they were used for. But HE DID! Because he knew precisely how to use each one, his tools never had a chance to sit and get RUSTY.

Our MINDS are the most precious tools that we have in our tool chests! To keep our minds SHARP and rust-free, we can’t just let them sit IDLE.

We need to use it or LOSE IT!

Technology is amazing and FUN…until we become OVERLY occupied. (I know I’m guilty!)

We should challenge and stretch ourselves DAILY through creative thinking. Otherwise, our brains are just another useless tool gathering RUST.

It’s much too easy to waste an entire day just HOPING to be entertained by what the world is “tweeting”.

Too much YouTube or too much texting, and at the end of the day, we’re NO SMARTER than we were at the beginning.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

Let’s use this technology to learn something new. Let’s watch educational videos and listen to inspirational podcasts.

I’m just sayin’… it takes a LOT longer to transform your mind if you’re LIMITED to just 140 characters or less! Lol

Oh by the way, don’t forget to likeand sharethis blog! Then, put your phones down and go outside and play!

What’s YOUR technology weakness? Is it games, videos, podcasts, or social media? It’s okay to admit. We won’t judge. 🙂

Work forces me to use technology, so Sundays are Technology Day off and Family Day to spend time together or actually play board games!!!!
