I love people watching. It’s entertaining and educational… all at the same time!

It’s funny how people WANT more for themselves… but, won’t WORK and stretch themselves to reach their desire.

Then, they start talking bad about the people who are doing the VERY THING that they wanted to do. They try to tear down those who are passing them up.

Did I lose you on that?

There’s an old saying, “People who never do any more than they get paid for – never get paid for any more than they do.”

God doesn’t want us to settle. He wants us to HAVE more and DESIRE more.

“But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.”

1 Corinthians 12:31 (NIV)

The desire to be exceptional is in all of us, but it doesn’t just happen. We have to be willing to constantly PURSUE excellence.

Excellence (while a Godly attribute) takes a lot of WORK! It’s the application of forethought, planning, focus, sacrifice, and diligence that produces extraordinary results!

Those results are recognized and acknowledged. Then, recognition brings PROMOTION.

We serve an excellent God and He’s designed us for an EXCELLENT future!

We can reach SO much HIGHER! Don’t be afraid to “shoot for the moon”. If we don’t make it… perhaps, we’ll land among the STARS!
