Back in 2008, we were getting ready for the dedication of the Earth City Campus. About two weeks out, we had an inspector pay us a visit.

This guy said, “You’re NOT going to open on that date because you won’t have your permit. I’m going to FAIL you!” 

I said, “Well, we’ve got two weeks. Tell me what we need to do.”

He said, “No, I’m not going to tell you until the day of your next inspection. But you won’t be having any services that day!”

Sometimes, our greatest OBSTACLES aren’t physical… but spiritual!

So, we just keep saying, “This building is gonna be open! This building is gonna be open!” We’re confessing it, we’re believing it, we’re praying it, and we’re moving FORWARD!

About a week later, it’s inspection time and the guy doesn’t show up. Another guy comes, instead.

I said, “Hey, what happened to the other guy?”

He said, “Oh, he was supposed to be back, but he went on vacation and hurt his knee. He’s not going to be back for a few weeks.”

(So we passed inspection and opened the building right on schedule!)

About eight weeks later, because we still needed our final occupancy permit, the original inspector came back.

I said, “Man what happened?”

He said, “It was the CRAZIEST thing! I was on vacation, just sleeping. I woke up and I couldn’t walk! I was in bed for weeks, woke up one morning and I could walk again.”

Friend, God can handle our problems! I’m telling you, He’s got this! We just have to have FAITH and become stronger in the Spirit.

God is calling us out! Operate in FORGIVENESS. Operate in LOVE. Speak to that mountain and it WILL move!
